Nocturne There is a separate entity of the landscape that exists in the human psyche. Behind the stories of myth and legend is a scenery which is a landscape transformed. The context of the place of myth and legend is altered by memory. Nocturne seeks to create an atmosphere behind certain legends. It seeks to form the time and space for myths such as the Yeti and other creatures which tend to shape-shift within their own legends as they are carried on from person to person in the oral tradition. What is attached to each place is a time which has passed, that carries on through our memory. It is the constant reference that cannot be separated from the image - it is the landscape of the mind. |
